Job Status: Employed but negotiable
Age: 28

About Me: Interested in programming from a very young age, I started with QBasic on my Tandy 1000 (I was 7). When I found out about the internet around 1992 I realized that normal people were making webpages and I wanted to do that too. My first webpage was a Geocities page. This is where I learned about Javascript and how to disable Geocities basic advertisements. Over time I developed basic websites and scripts and eventually got into electronics and computers.

I started my college courses with Electronic Engineering but realized that it wasn't the path that I wanted to be on. While going through these courses I took a job at a marketing company and began to develop professional websites, including Bigfoot Java's, Dilanos Coffee, Eagle Mountain RV, and other minor sites. I was also introduced to PHP and MySQL development. I had no formal education in programming at this point.

In college I decided to switch to Computer Network Engineering to learn about Active Directory and Microsoft networks. I gained some insight into the basic workings of networks and protocols which now allows me to understand client-server communication. I received my Associate's degree in CNE and found that the job market was limited, so I looked toward Computer Science and programming.

I enrolled in the University of Washington to learn programming and took various courses on Java. During this time I learned the mathematics of programming, which help with big-O notation and searching mostly. I also learned about databases and ASP.net programming to a minor extent.

While attending college at the UW I was working for a real estate company making their website and maintaining their servers. I developed a custom method to pull information from the NWMLS database using PHP, SOAP, and MySQL. I also submitted several PHP scripts to phpclasses.org during this time.

After college, I obtained an internship with Weyerhauser to migrate FileNet data from Panagon to P8. I developed various scripts to improve the migration process, which took nearly 5 days before for one database item, to about 2 days, including all communication between involved parties.

Now I work for Advanced Toolware developing scripts in a proprietary program called User Management Resource Administrator, which provisions/edits/removes Active Directory accounts based on various database EIS and SIS systems or direct user input.

Hobbies: Programming, my 1958 Edsel Pacer, playing with my dauchunds, biking, hunting, shooting, and enjoying movies.
